American Alif Academy offers in-person Arabic classes for Level 1 through Level 4, plus an Arabic Club. Level 1 is for beginners and students who need to strengthen their foundation, and the Arabic Club includes conversation, movies, theater, games, and social activities after Level 4.
Programs

- Level 2 — Strengthen Language Skills — 5-15 · Part of the structured four-level journey.
- Level 3 — Develop Greater Confidence — 5-15 · Part of the structured four-level journey.
- Level 4 — Apply Arabic Independently — 5-15 · Part of the structured four-level journey.
- Arabic Club — 5-15 · $100 per month · After Level 4; students continue practicing through conversation, movies, theater, games, and social activities.
- Online Level 1 — 5-15 · A separate online Level 1 option is available for families outside San Diego.

About the provider
The academy is led by Dr. Abdullah Alshawi, the founder, and Attab Al-Sadoon, the Dean of Academics. Its academic leadership has 30+ years of Arabic teaching experience. The mission statement says the academy aims to inspire children to discover the beauty of the Arabic language through engaging, interactive, and enjoyable learning experiences that build lifelong confidence.
Independent in-person Arabic academy in El Cajon. Not affiliated with any religion, political organization, or specific cultural group. No trial classes or placement test for new Level 1 beginners. Sibling discounts: two siblings receive 10% off; three siblings receive 15% off.
