Legacy Creative Arts Studio Youth Dance Programs

Legacy Creative Arts Studio Youth Dance Programs offers public daily scheduled dance classes for fitness or fun, including kids hip hop classes, Saturday youth hip hop and contemporary classes, and choreography classes at beginner and intermediate levels. The program also runs master classes and provides rehearsal space for dance activities. Additional options at the studio include adult hip hop classes, burlesque, heels, Beginners Femme Choreography, Golden Grooves, and Turn Up Dance Fitness.

Legacy Creative Arts Studio was founded by Cyrus Bongalos in October of 2018. The studio’s mission states that it was founded to make dance accessible, inclusive, and empowering for everyone, with the mission “Enrich, encourage, entrust,” a vision of “A world connected through the power of art,” and the values “People, passion, purpose.” Through youth programs, adult drop-in classes, and community performances, Legacy Creative Arts Studio is shaping a new generation of dancers. The studio offers a Work-Study Program that provides financial assistance for classes and training to dedicated and talented students, and it emphasizes kids being enrolled in a weekly class for consistency and dedication, with a focus on building social skills, teamwork, and confidence through consistent classes with the same classmates. The studio states that it values artistry over competition, culture over clout, and community over comparison. Reservations for classes require pre-payment, and families use an online account system to sign up and reserve spots in class.
