About

Imperial Valley Baseball Network offers year round baseball activities that include a baseball camp, local tournaments, and leagues. The program also offers IVBN Scholarships and a Student/Athlete Scholarship connected to its baseball activities. A yearly baseball camp is hosted by Imperial Valley Baseball Network in association with the Imperial Valley College baseball program.

Imperial Valley Baseball Network was established in 2008 as a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to teach and promote the game of baseball and preparation after high school level, and to promote the game of baseball in the Imperial Valley. The organization has previously assisted many local baseball entities with financial support, coaching, and voluntary support. The Imperial Valley Organization (IVBN) is actively involved in the community to ensure that youth receive opportunities to participate in year round baseball and baseball activities. Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis as an opportunity for prospering Student/Athletes to continue their path to success, and IVBN awards a Student/Athlete Scholarship yearly to qualified high school seniors to pursue their collegiate careers. The staff includes experienced staff with collegiate to professional baseball experience. The leadership team includes President Ruben Niebla, Vice President Renato Montaño, Treasurer Simon Canales, Member at Large Pedro Carranza, and Technology lead Bobby Moreno. A quoted statement associated with the program is, “There is no room in baseball for discrimination. It is our national pastime and game for all.” — Lou Gehrig.
