Colorspace Arts Youth Art Classes

Colorspace Arts Youth Art Classes offers drawing, painting, fine art, comics art, animation, and mixed media classes, including options such as Drawing and Painting, Drawing Comics, Animation Studio, Fine Art Studio, and Mastering Colored Pencils. The program also includes teen-focused classes such as Teen Animation Studio, Teen Fine Art Studio, and Teen Figure Drawing with Live Model, as well as figure drawing and painting with a live model.

• Ages: 7–18 years old
• Schedule: Weekly classes during the Fall 2026 semester with youth and teen options on weekday afternoons and early evenings, plus teen classes on Saturdays and Sundays

Colorspace Arts Youth Art Classes is part of a site that has hosted art classes and workshops organized by Liv and Chiu Art Studio for the past 3 years. Starting July 2025, Colorspace Arts, led by figurative painter and retired primary care physician Susan Chuang, is taking over organizing the art programs. Colorspace Arts states a mission of offering a community-focused art space with a variety of art classes, workshops, and uninstructed sessions for both beginners and experienced artists. Susan Chuang’s work includes a painting titled “Solace” shown at the 2023 De Young Open.
