Trackers Earth Bay Area Youth Camps & Classes is organized around four guilds: the Rangers Guild, Wilders Guild, Mariners Guild, and Artisans Guild. Trackers is a team of expert educators, and the organization cultivates experienced and mature staff to teach real skills and respect for the land.
Its mission is to inspire kids and families outdoors, creating stories and memories—new friendships, wonder, and possibilities—within ourselves, between each other, and with the world around us. Trackers seeks to bring environmental education back to inspiring adventure with standards of care, responsibility, and personalized learning, and it is described as a family organization and a community, like a true village.
Trackers camps and outdoor programs have been recognized by several awards, including being voted Best Camp by parents through PDX Parent Magazine, NW Kids Magazine, and Red Tricycle, voted Best After School Classes by parents through PDX Parent Magazine, and receiving an award for creative programming from the American Camp Association.
Trackers has helped lead the way in standards of risk management for outdoor camps and programs and consults with other outdoor programs and camp organizations on safety and risk management.
