Wen Wu School teaches traditional Guang Ping Yang Tai Ji as a moving meditation with a series of gentle exercises that follow the principles of yin and yang, with martial applications considered secondary to good health and longevity. The Shaolin Kung Fu program includes basic exercises to stretch the tendons and strengthen the bones, and a Shaolin practitioner’s martial skills gradually develop from external to internal. Students over the age of seven may join the Shaolin class at any time. The school’s goal is to help students learn and appreciate traditional Chinese culture while promoting good health and longevity, and it welcomes all students regardless of race, gender, creed, age, national origin, sexual orientation, or disability. Wen Wu School has taught over 7,000 students since 1972.
