About
Winslow Tennis Academy offers kids peer group classes for newer and younger players, kids beginner classes, intermediate and advanced junior clinics, junior team matches and practices, high school varsity starters clinic, adult clinics, and private lessons. The academy’s kids classes are grouped by age and skill range, and Saturday kids classes are drop-in with pay-as-you-go pricing.
Programs
- Kids peer group classes for newer and younger players — 6-8, 8-11, 11-13 · Saturday, 12:00-3:00 pm · $30 per class · Drop-in; no advance commitment needed; pay-as-you-go.
- Kids beginner classes for ages 6-15 — 6-15 · Weekly one-hour lessons · For all skill and experience levels within the broad range of Beginner, from brand new beginners to advanced beginners. Small groups, typically 4-7 players.
- Intermediate and Advanced junior clinics — 11-14, 11-13, 12-14, high school · Tuesdays 4:00-5:30 pm; Wednesdays 3:30-5:00 pm; Fridays 4:00-6:00 pm; Saturdays 1:00-3:00 pm · For advanced and competitive players, including intermediate and advanced players and high school varsity players.
- Junior Team matches and practices — Fridays after school
- High School Varsity Starters Clinic — high school · Thursdays 4:00-6:00 pm; Saturdays 1:00-3:00 pm · With AW.
- Adult clinics — adults · Bi-weekly Wednesdays 7:00-8:00 pm; bi-weekly Fridays 9:30-11:00 am; Saturdays 9:30-11:00 am; Saturdays 11:00 am-1:00 pm · $40–$45 per class · Includes the 'Wimbledon' group, the 'US Open' group, 3.0+ and 3.5 players, Women 3.0 players, and 3.5, 3.5+ and 4.0 players.
- Private lessons — By arrangement · Available with Coach Alexander and with assistant coaches.

About the provider
Alexander Winslow is the owner of Winslow Tennis Academy. The leadership team also includes assistant coaches Chey Rosally, Leighton Sproul, Caden Winslow, and Nathan Beadles. The academy says it is for having fun while becoming players, and that it teaches mechanics, technique, and footwork while keeping kids moving, developing, and having fun.
