The Dorris Dann Kids Campus Youth Center includes a middle school-sized gymnasium, a 1,340 square foot tutoring and learning arena, a computer lab, an art studio, and six classrooms. The 18,000 square foot Kids Campus Youth Center was built in 2006 through grants and donations, and Youth Development Programs were established in 1989. The stated goal is to encourage and prepare youth to succeed by reinforcing their development in academics while encouraging social and emotional learning through enrichment in arts, athletics, health and wellness, and community responsibility.

Instructional Aides and Program Mentors are highly qualified individuals trained to work with youth and must undergo a thorough background check, pass a proficiency test, tuberculosis testing, and abuse training before working with youth. College Corps Fellows must undergo a thorough background check, tuberculosis testing, and abuse training prior to working with youth. The leadership team includes Jose Vega, Executive Director; Perla Quiroz, Program Manager, El Monte Soccer for Success; Daniel Rodriguez, Food Pantry & Emergency Shelter Coordinator, Our Saviour Center; Bolin Ye, Community Case Worker, Our Saviour Center; Marguerite Ponce, Program Director, Dorris Dann Kids Campus; Eimie Tsumura, Development Coordinator; Anna Rothe, Senior Accountant; and Noemi Castaneda, Program Coordinator, Best Buy Teen Tech Center.

In partnership with the El Monte City School District, after-school education and enrichment programming is offered, and Instructional Aides and Program Mentors serve as liaisons to youth organizations including Girl Scouts, Techbridge Girls, and Leader in Me. Dorris Dann Kids Campus is a partner of the Cal Poly Pomona College Corps Fellows, and Our Saviour Center was created by the Church of Our Saviour in San Gabriel as a means of reaching out to the community. The mission of the program is to foster the social, emotional, and mental well-being of children and youth.

One staff member, Phu N., describes Kids Campus as a place where kids can express themselves to friends and staff and shares that support from staff gave them confidence as a previous attendee. Another contributor, Jennifer S., from Cal Poly Pomona College Corps, notes that working with K–12 students at Dorris Dann Kids Campus showed her the impact educators can have beyond teaching math and language arts. Sarah M., a Cal Poly Pomona College Corps Fellow, states that her time at Our Saviour Center has been a lesson in serving the community with empathy and understanding and that she works with a diverse group of people from many backgrounds.
