Legacy Dance Academy Summer Intensive & Camps

Legacy Dance Academy Summer Intensive & Camps offers Combo 1 Ballet/Tap for ages 3-4, Combo 2 Ballet/Tap for ages 4-5, and Combo 3 Ballet/Tap for ages 5-6. These 55-minute classes include warm-up stretch, across the floor, center floor, and choreography. The program also offers Ballet 1, Ballet 2, Ballet 3, Pre-Point, Jumps, Turns & Tricks, Jazz/Funk, Contemporary, Summer Intensive, and Ballet Intensive.

Programs

• Combo 1 Ballet/Tap — 3-4 years old · 55 minute class teaching basic steps of ballet and tap, plus choreography. Includes warm-up stretch, across the floor, and center floor.
• Combo 2 Ballet/Tap — 4-5 years old · 55 minute class teaching basic steps of ballet and tap, plus choreography. Includes warm-up stretch, across the floor, and center floor. Recommended previous combo 1.
• Combo 3 Ballet/Tap — 5-6 years old · 55 minute class teaching more advanced steps of ballet and tap, plus choreography. Includes warm-up stretch, across the floor, and center floor. Recommended previous combo 1 & 2.
• Jumps, Turns & Tricks
• Ballet 1 — 7-14 years old · Beginner class for dancers with little or no previous dance experience. Covers basic feet and body positions at the barre, stretching properly, and short combinations.
• Ballet 2 — 9-12 years old and teens-adults · Advance beginner class that moves from the barre to center floor. Includes ballet barre, across the floor, and short center combination. Recommended previous ballet 1.
• Ballet 3 — teens-adults · Intermediate level class. Pre-requisite: call first.
• Pre-Point — Technique and strengthening class in preparation for Pointe work. Pre-requisite: call first.
• Jazz/Funk — 7-10 years old · Beginning dancer class with stretch, technique, and fun choreography to upbeat music.
• Contemporary — teens and adults · Contemporary dance class. Ballet highly recommended.
• Summer Intensive — 5-19 yrs and new 8 & under groups now forming · 9:00am-3:00pm · For the more serious dancer. Daily ballet and jazz technique. Call for level placement before registering.
• Ballet Intensive — 8-14 yrs · 9:00am-3:00pm · Invite only.
