VIBE Volleyball Lab offers single private training sessions that expire 60 days from purchase, 5-packs that expire 5 months from purchase, 10-packs that expire 10 months from purchase, and 20-packs that expire 12 months from purchase. The facility includes indoor volleyball courts, weight room space, and a separate Performance Lab for performance training that is not on the volleyball court. The program is a training facility and not a team or a club, and it does not hold tryouts. It offers individualized volleyball and performance training, with volleyball, performance, and college recruiting support available in one place. Small group volleyball classes are available for K–12th graders and adults, are coed, and are open to all positions. The Performance Lab focuses on strength, speed, agility, coordination, and injury prevention. College recruiting support includes help with emails, highlight videos, communication strategies, timelines, and moral support. Position specific camps are offered in a focused, high-rep environment. During training sessions, the facility is athlete-only with limited parent presence rules, siblings can share packages, and families can use the VIBE app for booking; VIBE Credit is offered instead of refunds.
The training staff includes former college coaches, experienced club coaches, NCAA All-Americans, and former U.S. National Team members. The leadership team includes General Manager Kelsey Donohoe, Director of Volleyball Jon Basilio, Director of Performance Emily Nader, VIBE Mascot and Chief Vibes Officer Ripp, Trainer and Front Desk Assistant Sam Hastings, and Videographer and Content Manager Jameson McKibbin. VIBE has 10 years of athlete results, and Ripp has been with VIBE for 7 years. VIBE states that it was created with one mission: to help young athletes reach their volleyball and performance goals without getting lost in the chaos of club politics, school rosters, or losing their love for the game before they hit their stride, and its mission is to provide elite, individualized volleyball and performance training in an environment that is fun and focused and built for real results, while creating a community where athletes feel seen, supported, and inspired to level up. VIBE is built by Division 1 athletes and is trusted by thousands, and staff members include NCAA All-Americans and former U.S. National Team members. Sam Hastings has over 15 years of volleyball experience and earned WCC Libero of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and four-time WCC Defensive Player of the Week honors while at Loyola Marymount University. Kelsey Donohoe has over a decade of coaching and management experience, 8 years of playing experience, more than 10 years coaching at both the high school and club levels, and over 6 years in management roles. Jon Basilio is a former NCAA athlete with over two decades of experience in playing, coaching, and developing athletes at the club, high school, and collegiate levels, and he has coached championship-winning teams including CIF and State titles and a Gold Medal at the 2019 USA Nationals. Emily Nader studied at Penn State University with an academic background in Kinesiology, Movement Science, Biology, Sports Administration, and Biomechanics, and holds credentials as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), ACSM Certified Personal Trainer (ACSM-CPT), and Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC).
Parent and athlete feedback includes comments such as “Most positive atmosphere and place I could have imagined” from Milan C. Naomi Goodno states that her son’s game has vastly improved and credits the instructors and the “vibe of a great place,” and she highly recommends VIBE. Julie R. describes VIBE as “the perfect place to go to work on your volleyball skills,” notes that trainers are knowledgeable and have made her a more versatile and competitive player, and says her game has definitely improved. Tae Kim shares that a 15-year-old and 13-year-old have been attending for a few years for training classes and private lessons, describes the staff and trainers as friendly, skilled, and knowledgeable, and notes that private lessons are important for improving and developing individual skills and that two training classes are used regularly for keeping in shape and building strength.
