Elk Grove Surf (IR Academy of Soccer Development) offers youth soccer through a development-first club that is part of Surf Nation. The program includes youth soccer activities, player tryouts, the 2026 IR Academy Elk Grove Spring Cup tournament, and a Family Information Night.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Club tryouts begin May 11 in Elk Grove; Family Information Night is April 30 at 6:00pm
IR Academy of Soccer Development is dedicated to promoting the sport of soccer among local youth and providing an outlet for players to train and compete, and is community based and committed to the individual player's development. Elk Grove Surf's mission is to create the “best of the best” experiences and opportunities for youth soccer players through its clubs, events, and facilities. The IR Academy of Soccer Development is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and a member of both US Club Soccer and the Norcal Premier Soccer League. The club offers a proven development pathway that supports every stage of a youth soccer player's journey, with girls and boys teams from 6–18 years old, top Juniors and Littles academies in the region, and 75 alumni playing collegiately or professionally.
