St. Peter’s Lutheran School

St. Peter’s Lutheran School offers advanced math, sports, music classes, a fine arts program, band, and summer camps. Students take part in weekly schoolwide chapel and go on field trips such as Wolf Mountain, Washington, D.C., and museums.

Since 1993, St. Peter’s Lutheran School has been a private Christian school serving Elk Grove and the greater Sacramento area, providing children with a Christian and academic foundation in grades preschool through eight. The school’s stated mission is to glorify God through Christian nurture, mission outreach, quality academics, and religious education. St. Peter’s Lutheran School is the main mission of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and is described as a means of ministering to the needs of the church and the community. The school is accredited by WASC and ACSI as a private Christian school. The staff includes over 30 full and part-time people from over 12 different local Christian churches. The campus includes a full-size gym, a music room, bright, well-equipped classrooms, and a playground with large playing fields.
