Escondido Soccer Club - SDSC Escondido Surf is a community-based soccer program that includes over 1,300 recreational players. The program’s long-term goal is to develop well-rounded individual soccer players who are self-confident and value the importance of teamwork, strong moral character, and a positive mental attitude. It also strives to provide a foundation of strong soccer skills, empowering players to compete at their highest level.
The Escondido Soccer Club and SDSC Surf Escondido state that they strive to develop integrity and mutual respect through athletic competition within a safe, fun, and supportive environment. The organization is a community-based non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. It is supported by the city of Escondido and local businesses, and it has supported other community groups such as the Escondido Middle School soccer league and the Boys and Girls Clubs.
