Dance with Debbie offers social, Latin, swing, and ballroom dance instruction through group classes and private lessons. The program also creates customized choreographed pieces and prepares couples for their first dance at weddings and other special occasions.

Dance with Debbie provides technique-based social and ballroom dance instruction to youth and adults in Humboldt County and offers free tips for better dancing on topics such as picking the right shoes, getting the rhythm, dancefloor etiquette, and using breath for effective dancing. The program suggests smooth-soled, soft-sided shoes and recommends that dancers bring items such as hand sanitizer, breath freshener or a toothbrush, deodorant, a water bottle or snacks, band aids, an extra shirt or socks, and a shoe brush for class.
Owner Debbie Weist has a BA in Dance Kinesiology and a music minor from the University of Northern Colorado, and instructor Justin Golnik has gained certification through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Dance with Debbie has grown from 2007 to today, and Justin has been a valued instructor with Dance with Debbie since 2008. The program states that it strives to support arts in the community through creative partnerships and participation in public events and serves Arcata, Eureka, surrounding communities, and Humboldt County.
