Cougar Swim School offers Aqua Day / Junior Guard Camps and Aqua/Land Day Camp for ages 8 to 13. The camps include relay races, noodle water polo, springboard diving, pool games, water safety, and basic water rescue skills, with half-day activities in the pool and on the field.
Programs
- Aqua Day / Junior Guard Camps — 8 - 13 · Monday–Friday, 9 AM–1 PM · $240 per session · Half-day activities in the pool and on the field including relay races, noodle water polo, springboard diving, pool games, water safety and basic water rescue skills.
- Lifeguard Academy — 15 and up · Foundation of lifeguarding and life skills; training includes lifeguard equipment, introduction to CPR, physical exercise, lectures and team building activities.
- Lifeguard Certification Class — 15 and up · $275 · March, April, and May 3-day or 4-day classes.
- Aqua/Land Day Camp — 8 - 13 · Monday–Friday, 9 AM–1 PM · $240 per session · Sessions 1-5 offered in late June and July.
- Middle School Swim Team — Mondays & Wednesdays, 3 PM–4 PM · $90 · Spring Grades 5 - 8; meets at the SLV High School Pool.
- Water Polo — Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3:00 PM–4 PM · $90 · Spring program; meets at the SLV High School Pool.
- Fun-petitive Swim Team — Mondays & Wednesdays, 3 PM–4 PM · $135 · Fall Grades 5 - 8; meets at the SLV High School Pool.
- Fun-petitive Water Polo — Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3:00 PM–4 PM · $135 · Fall program; meets at the SLV High School Pool.

About the provider
Cougar Swim School also offers Lifeguard Academy for ages 15 and up, with training in lifeguard equipment, CPR introduction, physical exercise, lectures, and team building activities. It offers Lifeguard Certification Class for ages 15 and up in March, April, and May as 3-day or 4-day classes for $275.
Enrollment is limited with a ratio of 8 campers to 1 instructor. Group placement is based on age. Water activities are based on swimming ability. 5% off the total cost of 3 or more siblings. All participants must have a signed permission slip to participate. Swimmers are encouraged to bring their own goggles, towel and water. Please read Terms & Conditions and Refund & Make-Up Policy and download, print and fill out the Release of Liability form to bring to the first class.
