About
Redwood Camp is a classic overnight summer camp that includes activities such as boating, archery, the Flying Squirrel, the Geronimo Swing, a zip line, the cargo net, and the discovery grove ropes course. Campers also spend time at the heated Redwood Camp Pool for swim time, play meadow games, enjoy crafts, cook outs, campfires, s’mores, ice cream at the fountain, and take part in community worship, hilarious skits, meaningful dramas, and sharing times.

Redwood Camp is one of the overnight youth camps of Mount Hermon, which was founded in 1906 as the first Christian camp west of the Mississippi. Mount Hermon states that overnight youth camps are led by Christian staff and are intended to lead to life transformation, and that here amongst the redwoods, God works to transform lives. Mount Hermon’s mission is to proclaim Jesus as Lord and Savior, teach the authoritative Word of God, and serve His church in the nation and throughout the world. A Campership Fund offers partial grants so finances do not get in the way of attending camp.
One parent shared that their son “really bonded with the counselors and was crying at the end of the week because he had to leave” and that “he can’t wait to work at Redwood Camp when he’s old enough.” Another testimonial thanks Mount Hermon “for providing a Christian environment that fosters relationships with other Christ-centered kids.”
