About
Redwood Camp offers a classic overnight summer camp with activities such as boating, archery, the Flying Squirrel, the Geronimo Swing, a zip line, the cargo net, and the discovery grove ropes course. Campers also spend time at the Redwood Camp pool for swim time, play meadow games, enjoy crafts, cook-out night at the creek, campfires, s’mores, ice cream at the fountain, and cabin times. The program includes community worship, hilarious skits, meaningful dramas, sharing times, and ice cream at the fountain as part of the week’s experience.

Redwood Camp is part of a ministry founded in 1906 as the first Christian camp west of the Mississippi, with a mission “to proclaim Jesus as Lord and Savior, teach the authoritative Word of God, and serve His church in our nation and throughout the world.” One testimonial from a parent states that Redwood Camp provided “a Christian environment that fosters relationships with other Christ-centered kids,” and that their son bonded with the counselors and wanted to work at Redwood Camp when he is old enough. Another testimonial notes that time at Mount Hermon camps, including Redwood Camp and Ponderosa Lodge, included worship, messages, and being surrounded by other Christians.
