Beda Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy offers Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes, including PeeWee classes, Youth classes, Adult Gi and No Gi, Beginners Gi, and a Women’s Only class. The program also offers Functional Training focused on Jiu Jitsu strength and conditioning, as well as Open Mat sessions for members only.

Beda Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy opened on November 11, 2011. The academy is owned and operated by Elizandro Beda “Santista,” a fourth-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Leonardo Vieira, and by Brandy Beda, a black belt who earned her rank in 2022. Elizandro Beda has trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 35 years, has taught classes for over 14 years, and has competed as an athlete from Brazil at the highest level of competition. Brandy Beda has trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 10 years, has competed at the highest level of competition, and focuses on teaching the women’s only class, functional training, and kids’ classes. The academy states that its mission is to provide elite Jiu Jitsu instruction with classes tailored for recreational, competitive, and self-defense practitioners. Beda Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy is affiliated with the international Jiu Jitsu team Checkmat, founded in 2008 by Master Leonardo Vieira, which has affiliate academies in thirty-four American cities and sixteen countries worldwide. The academy’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu lineage is listed as Maeda > Carlos Gracie > Helio Gracie > Rolls Gracie > Romero Cavalcanti > Leonardo Vieira.
