Claycomb Academy of Martial Arts

Claycomb Academy of Martial Arts offers Shotokan Karate, Kickboxing, Adult Martial Arts, Kids Karate, Teen Karate, Adult Traditional Karate, and Adult Kickboxing. Training includes kihon (basics), kata (forms), controlled sparring, and conditioning.

Sensei MICHAEL "SUGARBOMB" CLAYCOMB is the kids karate lead instructor and is the only Shotokan Karate champion fighter in Kickboxing and Muay Thai in California. Instructors are described as experienced, background-checked, and committed to long-term student progress. The academy states that its mission is to offer high-quality instruction, honest expectations, and a training environment where every student who meets its readiness criteria can grow safely and successfully. Claycomb Academy of Martial Arts is a member of the Japan Karate-do Maruyoshikai Organization, and its style of karate is Shotokan, one of four karate styles recognized by the International Olympic Committee.
