About
Rally Camps is a multi-sport summer camp where campers take part in basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis, floor hockey, and other sports, games, and recreational activities. Campers are grouped by grade and rotate through different sports and games, with each week including opportunities to earn awards for effort and leadership. The camp emphasizes teaching life skills such as teamwork, effort, sportsmanship, and resilience, and aims to build self-esteem in a positive learning environment while eliminating screen time and keeping kids moving.

Rally Camps describes itself as more than a day camp, offering a variety of sports, games, and recreational activities for children in Pre-K through rising 8th grade. The program has a zero-tolerance policy for any activities that may put campers at risk physically or emotionally, and it conducts regular safety checks and inspections of grounds, facilities, and equipment. Each site has a trained medical staff member, such as an EMT, Paramedic, or Nurse, on-site for the duration of the camp day, and staff complete ongoing training on safety protocols and procedures. Staff are professional educators with deep experience in child management and development, and in the afternoon they help load bags and sports equipment and help campers remember their belongings. Carline drop-off and pick-up are offered, with staff escorting campers from the car and helping with belongings, along with an option for early pick-up or late drop-off.
Rally Camps is a multi-sport summer camp for boys and girls in Pre-K through rising 8th grade and has operated programs for numerous professional sports teams for over 10 years. Kevin Hoover founded Rally in 2012 and serves as Chief Executive Officer, with Katherine Rothschild as Chief of Staff, Madi Earnshaw as Director of Operations & Marketing, and Chris Evans as General Manager of Rally Day Camps. Chris Evans holds a BA in English and History from UC Irvine, a Masters in Education Organization and Leadership from the University of Illinois, USATF Level II Certification Endurance Athletes, and USATF Special Certification Cross-Country Coach. Katherine Rothschild holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and has worked in the hospitality industry since the age of 14. Madi Earnshaw holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of San Diego and is working toward a Masters in Business Administration.
The stated goal of Rally Camps is to teach indelible life skills and foster fun experiences through sports and other activities during the times that children are out of school. Kevin Hoover serves as the Education Chair on the board of the California Collaboration for Youth and as an athletic board member at Fordham University. Kevin and his wife, Laura, are active members of several organizations that serve underprivileged youth and that provide opportunities for safety and growth.
