Foster City Camps offers activities that include sports, active games, arts and crafts projects, song singing, games, cooking, science projects, sports activities, and camp skits. The program runs during vacation breaks in Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer for children in TK–8th grades, with specific camps such as FUNtastic Fall Camp, Wild N' Wacky Winter Camp, Super Duper Spring Break Camps, Kamp Koala, Camp Outback, Camp Wayoutback, Camp Breakaway, and a Counselors in Training Summer Program. For FUNtastic Fall Camp, Wild N' Wacky Winter Camp, and Super Duper Spring Break Camp, campers are asked to bring a healthy bag lunch, snacks, water, and sunscreen each day. For Kamp Koala, campers bring a healthy bag lunch, water, and sunscreen daily, and a snack is provided each day. For Camp Outback, Camp Wayoutback, and Camp Breakaway, campers bring a healthy bag lunch, snack, water, and sunscreen daily, and parents are asked to notify staff if a child is a non-swimmer or has limited swimming skills for field trips that include water or swimming elements.
Kamp Koala is for children entering TK or Kindergarten, and all Kamp Koala campers must be 4 years old when camp starts and fully toilet-trained, and Kamp Koala is not a summer preschool. FUNtastic Fall Camp, Wild N' Wacky Winter Camp, and Super Duper Spring Break Camps are for children in K–5th grade. Camp Outback is for children entering 1st–2nd grade, Camp Wayoutback is for 3rd–4th graders, and Camp Breakaway is for teens entering 5th–8th grade, with Camp Breakaway visiting Bay Area parks and attractions each week. Camp Outback campers take one field trip per week on Wednesdays unless otherwise noted, Camp Wayoutback campers take one field trip per week on Thursdays unless otherwise noted, and Camp Wayoutback campers have the option to participate in an overnight stay in August. Campers at Wild N' Wacky Winter Camp go on field trips during the first week to locations around the Bay Area.
Registration for Foster City Camps is on a first-come, first-served basis until spots are filled, and if a registration form is submitted after a session is full, the camper may be placed on a wait list and notified if a spot opens. No day-of or onsite registration is accepted for Kamp Koala, Camp Outback, Camp Wayoutback, and Camp Breakaway. Campers who choose not to attend a field trip do not receive refunds, pro-rated fees, or additional child care. Staff make reasonable efforts to accommodate special needs or medical conditions. Foster City Camps are described as always in season.
