Buk Sing Kung Fu Academy offers traditional Chinese martial arts classes that include Adult Kung Fu, Junior Kung Fu, Wing Chun, Lion Dance, Beginner Kids Kung Fu, Intermediate Kids Kung Fu, Advanced Kids Kung Fu, Advanced Adult Sparring, and Cardio Kickboxing. The program focuses on the Choy Lay Fut martial arts style and includes training in self-defense and other traditional Chinese martial arts.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Class options on Mondays and Wednesdays between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with additional Cardio Kickboxing and Lion Dance times available by calling for availability
• Price: ONE FLAT MONTHLY RATE. NO TRICKY CONTRACTS.
The Buk Sing Kung Fu Academy has been teaching traditional Chinese Kung Fu in the Fremont/Newark area for over 35 years. The primary instructor and leader is Sifu Shane Lacey (Lay Shun Lay), an 8th degree Buk Sing Choy Lay Fut master. The mission of the academy is to study Kung Fu, learn self-defense, build confidence, and practice integrity through the ancient Choy Lay Fut martial arts style, with principles of respect, humility, and perseverance included in the training for both Junior Kung Fu and Adult Kung Fu.
Sifu Shane Lacey is described as one of the most highly respected and sought after martial artists on the West Coast of America and is well versed in Choy Lay Fut Buk Sing, Northern Shaolin, Chow Gar, Wing Chun, and Wu Shu. His credentials include being one of the 10 grand champions of the Chinese weapons division at Ed Parker’s International Championships in Long Beach, the undefeated 4-star grand champion of the International Chinese Martial Arts Championship in San Francisco for four straight years, and the top national Broad Sword champion in America.
