The primary instructor is Sifu Shane Lacey (Lay Shun Lay). The program has 35+ years in the Fremont/Newark area. Its mission statement says: Study Kung Fu, learn self-defense, build confidence, and practice integrity through the ancient Choy Lay Fut martial arts style. Sifu Shane Lacey is described as an 8th degree Buk Sing Choy Lay Fut master, one of the 10 grand champions of the Chinese weapons division at Ed Parker’s International Championships in Long Beach California, the undefeated 4-star grand champion of the International Chinese Martial Arts Championship in San Francisco for four years straight, and the top national Broad Sword champion in America.
