Little Mud Puddles Learning Center offers play-based learning that includes art projects, storytelling, music time with songs, group play, and hands-on exploration. Children take part in interactive lessons with guided discovery, creative art, music, movement, science activities, outdoor play, puzzles, and hands-on problem-solving activities. The program also uses Hooked on Phonics and Handwriting Without Tears as part of its learning materials.

Little Mud Puddles Learning Center is a private preschool with a comprehensive learning program and a play-based curriculum, using developmentally appropriate practices in each classroom. Children are grouped chronologically and/or developmentally, with small class sizes and individualized attention. The center offers a kindergarten readiness program and assistance with potty training. Families have access to a secure online monitoring service with parent webcam access so they can view their child in the classroom, and this webcam access keeps classroom activities more transparent during the day. The program states it has been “Igniting the Love of Learning for 40 Years.” Its mission is to provide a safe, clean, loving, supportive environment that promotes education, diversity, and learning through play, and to create a setting where children ages 2–5 years old discover their own individualism to set a successful foundation for the next stage in their lives. The program values family culture, uses English as the primary language at school, supports the home language in various ways, and promotes keeping the home language strong. It states that the process of doing an activity is a key component for children to learn and that it respects children for their unique, individual qualities while establishing and maintaining a love for learning.
Little Mud Puddles Learning Center has received a Best 2025 Award for Best Daycare and has been honored in Best Preschool. It has also received a Best 2023 Award: Best of Fremont Child Care Services and is noted as a Business Hall of Fame member for the 15th consecutive year. The program thanks families for voting it Best Child Care Service and for voting it Best Daycare and honoring it in Best Preschool. Tours are scheduled by emailing [email protected], and open houses are held on Saturdays for waitlisted families.
