Robotics And Kids

Robotics And Kids offers robotics classes for kids using LEGO EV3, along with Robotics Summer Camp, Robotics Spring Session, and Robotics Fall Session. The program uses the LEGO Spike Prime kit, and kids work on a new project every class involving sensors and motors. Each class stresses new building and programming principles, and kids create their own robots on their first day using a combination of the LEGO building system, a microcomputer hub, and drag-and-drop programming software.

• Ages: 8–18 years old
• Schedule: Mostly one session will consist of 10 classes (1 class per week), offered in 10 class sessions

In Robotics And Kids classes, there are 10 kids per class, and kids work in teams of 2 to complete projects. Each team has a robotics kit and a laptop. Kids use programming concepts such as commands, variables, program flow, iteration (repetition), decision-making, and multitasking. Robotics And Kids offers a Robotics Summer Camp for ages 8 and up, and Robotics Spring and Fall Sessions for ages 8 and up, each with a new project every class. Robotics And Kids was founded in 2015, and its motto is “Imagine, Innovate, Inspire.” The founder, Swati Mittal, has a Master’s degree in computer application and has completed LEGO Education’s Instructor course.
