Copper River Country Club Junior Tennis Program offers tennis through clinics, private instruction, and private lessons. The program also includes UTR junior tournaments as part of its activities.

• Schedule: Tennis hours Monday–Thursday 8:00am–10:00pm, Friday–Sunday 8:00am–8:00pm
The junior program is led by Andy Vang. Director of Tennis Nolan Kelly oversees tennis operations, and Head Teaching Professional and Copper River Country Club Head Pro Sadhaf Pucher is part of the leadership team. Sadhaf Pucher has over 18 years of experience developing junior, collegiate, and pro tennis players and has coached at The Ohio State University, University of Nebraska, Princeton University, Drake University, and Southern Utah University. Steve Loop will run the 559 High Performance Tennis program and is a former Fresno State assistant men’s tennis coach who spent six seasons on the men’s tennis staff and previously served as men’s tennis head coach at Fresno City College. Andy Vang is a former Fresno Pacific University women’s tennis coach, was an assistant men’s tennis coach at American River College, and currently hosts UTR junior tournaments around Fresno.
Copper River Country Club is a member of the U.S. Tennis Association (USTA), and its tennis facility is described as an award-winning tennis facility that includes LED lighted tennis and pickleball courts. The tennis center features 15 LED lighted courts, including 13 hard courts and two clay courts, along with a member lounge. The center court is described as beautiful and is a frequent venue for NorCal USTA and NorCal USTA Junior tournaments, and is described as unrivaled in the valley for spectator enjoyment. The club also has a state-of-the-art fitness center, a 25-meter outdoor swimming pool with lap lanes, a toddler pool, and a spa, as well as Alicante Park and Vineyards and The Terrace, which together create one of the most popular outdoor wedding venues in Fresno, California. The Cantina lounge & grill features a handcrafted pizza oven and grill.
The golf course at Copper River Country Club was completed and opened for play in spring 1995, and the 30,000 square foot clubhouse and related facilities were dedicated in April 1996. In 2018, Bellagio Road, LLC, owned by Bob and Sue Husband, became the lessee of the club’s facilities and business operations, and the purchase of the club was completed in late 2024. In 2003, Bob Husband was named one of the “25 Most Powerful People in Golf” by Golf Inc. Magazine, and he was previously named an “Entrepreneur of the Year” by Ernst & Young and “One of the Most Dynamic Movers and Shakers in the Golf Industry” by Crittenden Golf. Together with his wife, Sue, Bob Husband created a foundation that supports charitable organizations including Big Brothers & Sisters, the Ronald McDonald House, and various school programs.
