Campers care for Fairmont chickens, collect their eggs, and take part in the Fairmont Farmer's Market, where they harvest and sell produce and eggs. The program donates the proceeds from the Farmer's Market to the food bank.

• Ages: 2–7 years old

Fairmont Summer Camp is part of Fairmont Private School of Fresno, which was established in 1974 by Bill and Maxine Smith and remains family-owned and operated. The program is led by experienced and professional educators who are trained in providing a child-focused curriculum. Fairmont is an International Baccalaureate (IB) School and offers the only IB Preschool Program in the valley designed specifically for preschool and kindergarten children, with a focus on the development of the whole child and learning about local and global communities through the study of six themes throughout the year. The program incorporates all subject areas, includes daily Spanish lessons, and uses a school garden, Fairmont chickens, and the Fairmont Farmer's Market as part of its activities. The program is designed for children in Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade, and includes 10 classrooms and a professional staff of educators. The school’s mission statement is: “We foster curiosity, knowledge, and critical thinking to ignite learning and to inspire a global vision in each member of our school community.”
