Math Crazy offers in-person and online one-to-one tutoring during the school year and summer. The program provides tutoring in math, reading, Medical Math, CBEST, CSET, SAT, SAT II, ACT subject programs, CAHSEE, and other school subjects. Students can be tutored anywhere from one to four times per week, and special arrangements can be made for onsite tutoring at local colleges or online tutoring from home.

• Schedule: Instruction available Monday–Thursday 12pm–8pm, with Friday–Sunday by appointment and Saturday SAT seminars from 10am–1pm
Math Crazy has over 35 years of experience as a locally owned small business serving its community. The program states, “We build confidence. We teach with patience. Learning should be fun!” Students are given an evaluation to determine their strengths and weaknesses, and programs are built to fit each student’s needs using informal and formal assessments to monitor progress, set goals, and plan instruction. SAT, SAT II, and ACT subject programs use study guides, flash cards, and practice tests, and the SAT program may be taken during the school year or summer, either privately (one tutor with one student) or in a group seminar. The CAHSEE program uses the same study guides, practice tests, and techniques that districts such as Fresno and Clovis Unified use.
The reading program is designed to fit the individual needs of K–12th grade students and focuses on phonemic awareness, phonetic skills, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. Through guided practice and making reading fun, the program states that it helps students become independent, lifelong readers. Math Crazy offers one-to-one tutoring for students of all ages, works with any and all schedules, and does not require contracts. Special arrangements can be made for onsite tutoring at local colleges or online tutoring from home.
Math Crazy has been a People’s Choice Winner for Best Tutorial Center. Families are also invited to come meet Molly, the program’s Chief Happiness Officer.
One testimonial from Janae describes using Math Crazy for Math 3, Chemistry, AP Calculus, AP Statistics, SAT Prep, and Physics, and reports raising an SAT score by about 100 points after SAT Prep with the program.
