The Electric Company Theatre Children's Theater Program is part of a collective of artists that runs a Children’s Theater program and produces theatrical experiences for people of all ages. The program is connected to producing high-quality, award-winning theatrical experiences, including an original musical for children about local Fullerton history. Participants have audition opportunities to join Electric Company Theatre for upcoming shows at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center, where most rehearsals and performances are on weekdays in Fullerton. The company also creates site specific experiences focusing on the historic Muckenthaler mansion, including an immersive event celebrating the Centennial of the mansion.

For the last 20 years, the team has been producing high-quality, award-winning theatrical experiences, with over 200 productions in the last 17 years. The Electric Company Theatre describes itself as a collective of artists dedicated to the exploration, development and presentation of classic, contemporary, and original texts, and to providing a forum for community connection and a platform for change through live theatre. The company has produced shows in conjunction with the California Humanities Project and has won awards at International Fringe Festivals. It is described as a destination for intimate theatre in Orange County and has created site specific experiences at a historic 18-room mansion built in 1925, including an immersive event celebrating the Centennial of the mansion and an original musical for children about local Fullerton history. Actors of all abilities, races/ethnicities, sizes, gender identities and sexualities are encouraged to submit for consideration, and the company looks for multi-disciplinary actors willing to be part of a company production process in a unique setting.
