About

The Frazier Martial Arts SKILLZ Kids Martial Arts Program features the world-renowned SKILLZ martial arts program for kids. The program includes the Early SKILLZ program, Basic SKILLZ program, Core SKILLZ program, and Extreme SKILLZ program, along with preschool, little kids, young kids, and older kids martial arts classes, as well as birthday parties. Kids take part in dynamic and interactive martial arts classes that are described as age-appropriate and suitable for kids with lots of energy, and the program also offers a superhero toddler program.

• Ages: 3–15 years old

Since it opened, Frazier Martial Arts has stated that it has been dedicated to changing the lives of people one person at a time through martial arts, education, and coaching, and it states that martial arts can be for everyone regardless of age, gender, or experience level. The program states that safety is a top priority for kids martial arts classes and that classes are broken up into age-specific groups to support personalized, developmental progress. Instructors at Frazier Martial Arts are trained to work with young children, and the school provides martial arts classes to the Fullerton, Anaheim, and Buena Park communities.

The Early SKILLZ program is for 3–4 year olds, the Basic SKILLZ program is for 5–6 year olds, the Core SKILLZ program is for 7–9 year olds, and the Extreme SKILLZ program is for 10–15 year olds. The program describes Basic SKILLZ as a mini life hack in martial arts for kids 5 to 6 years old, states that Core SKILLZ fills children with discipline, focus, respect, and a can-do attitude, and states that Extreme SKILLZ helps kids become strong, active, and full of focus, confidence, and good decision-making skills. Lessons are described as being designed to help shy kids come out of their shells, and thousands of schools worldwide use the SKILLZ program to change kids’ lives.

Frazier Martial Arts also offers birthday parties that aim to let parents enjoy a stress free day. The school offers Preschool Martial Arts, Little Kids Martial Arts, Young Kids Martial Arts, and Older Kids Martial Arts in Fullerton.

Parents have shared that the staff clearly care about the character development of each child and focus on the individual needs of each child while teaching a class. One parent, Elida Gonzalez, reports that her daughter loves karate, enjoys spending time with Ms. Melissa, has learned a lot, developed close friends, and that her personality has flourished, and also notes the support Ms. Melissa offers to parents to help develop safety, responsibility, and character. Another parent, Belinda Gordillo, highly recommends the school for daughters or sons who want to try a physical activity that is fun and meets them at their level, and describes Miss Melissa as an amazing instructor and role model. Parent Bonnie Carrizales states that the school provides an extended sense of family for her daughter and that her daughter gains more self discipline and self assurance with each belt rank upgrade. Parent Laura Lopez shares that her daughter joined at 5 years old, that her confidence has grown throughout the year, that she is physically stronger, and that she enjoys all classes.
