Patrick's Music School first opened its doors for business in 1972 and has been family owned since it opened. For its first 24 years, it operated as a full conservatory that provided music lessons, merchandise, rental instruments to local school programs, and sold pianos and organs for the Baldwin Piano and Organ Company. In early 1996, the school chose to stop selling merchandise and to limit the business to music lessons only, and it states that it is celebrating 50 years of music introduction.

Ann Patrick Green teaches selected private students at the school and is a concert pianist who has performed throughout Orange and Los Angeles counties. Her music degrees include a B.M. and M.M. from the Eastman School of Music in New York and D.M.A. studies at the University of Colorado. She is the author and composer of children's music method books titled “Tickle The Keys” (also known as “Let’s Make Music with Marvin”), which are sold by the school. She is an active member of the Fullerton Soroptimist business organization, Sigma Alpha Iota national music fraternity, National Guild for Music Teachers, CAPMT of Music Teachers National Association, Musical Arts Club of Orange County, and the Orange County Music Teachers Association, and she serves on local city committees including Night in Fullerton and the Muckenthaler Cultural Center while coordinating the Nixon Presidential Library concert series.

Heather is Ann Patrick Green’s daughter and assists in the organization of the school while teaching private, semi-private, and group lessons in piano and flute. Her degrees include a B.A. in Music and an M.S. in Educational Psychology from the University of Southern California, as well as an M.A. in Counseling from Chapman University. In 1997, she took part in a UC Irvine research program that studied children with Williams Syndrome and the effects of music education, assisting with music instruction for children. She taught music at a local elementary school for two years and is a member of the National Guild for Music Teachers, the Orange County Music Teachers Association, and the Musical Arts Club of Orange County, and she is an honorary member of Sigma Alpha Iota national music fraternity. Heather also works with local city Parks & Recreation departments in scheduling music classes to be offered to the general public.
