Rosary Academy, which runs these camps, was founded in September 1965 under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and later came under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Orange in 1976. Rosary Academy is Orange County’s only all-girls Catholic high school, is accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA), and is co-accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Its stated mission is to empower the next generation of bold, faith-filled women leaders, with an emphasis on faith, community, and service.
