The mission of the All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation is to nurture creativity and joyful learning through the arts and to develop, sustain, and support the arts as everyone's birthright. The Foundation began as an arts education program in the Fullerton School District, where for more than 30 years expert artist/educators taught art, music, dance, and theatre lessons to more than 10,000 elementary students each year, and in partnership with California State University, Fullerton, its work in developing and nurturing creativity was studied and validated.
The Foundation states that it has broadened to inspire creativity in children, adults, and new communities and that it is proud to give all K–6 students in the Fullerton School District the ability to find their passion in art, music, theatre, and dance. The organization highlights inclusive arts experiences and education rooted in teaching artistry, community partnership, and joyful expression, and states a passionate belief that the arts are everyone's birthright. Leadership includes Founder & President Lauralyn Eschner, Executive Director Kellee Wightman, and a Board of Directors and Advisory Board that includes artists, educators, a musician, a school board member, business owners, a graphic designer, an attorney, and other community members.
