All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation began as an arts education program in the Fullerton School District, where for more than 30 years expert artist/educators taught art, music, dance, and theatre lessons to each of the more than 10,000 elementary students in Fullerton’s schools every year. In partnership with California State University, Fullerton, the program’s work in developing and nurturing creativity was studied and validated, and the Foundation has broadened to include children, adults, and new communities through classes, private events, professional developments, free art projects, Art Walk, and more. The mission of the All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation is to nurture creativity and joyful learning through the arts and to develop, sustain, and support the arts as everyone’s birthright.
The Foundation’s leadership includes Founder & President Lauralyn Eschner; Vice President Lauren Moses Oldfield; Treasurer Wendy Lloyd Davies; Secretary Sara Cooper; Board of Directors members Paulette Chaffee, Kari Holoubek, Amanda McCann, and Kyle Stava; and Executive Director Kellee Wightman. Advisory Board members include musician Greg Adamson; school board member Beverly Berryman; artists Katherine England and Marsha Judd (artist/educator); auctioneer/consultant Dawn Marie Kotsonis; former McCoy Mills Ford owner Jim Miller; Fullerton Photographics owner Gaby Mullinax; PacMin CEO Fred Ouweleen; graphic designer Brian Torres; and attorney Cindy Yount.
The studio offers video lessons in the arts posted weekly on its website and social media and describes its approach as inclusive arts experiences and education rooted in teaching artistry, community partnership, and joyful expression. One exhibition, “The Sticky Note Show,” invites visitors to add their own 3x3 sticky note artwork, either by bringing a sticky note from home or creating one in the studio.
