Galt Dance Center offers classes in Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, Ballet, Tap, Jazz/Hip Hop, Hip Hop, Pointe, and Adult Ballet. Classes focus on proper technique, body alignment, and fun for preschool through professional students. Galt Dance Center offers classes in a variety of dance styles to suit many interests.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
Galt Dance Center has been providing dance instruction since 1994 and has served the Galt community for over 30 years. Director Dorothy Delgado, the owner of Galt Dance Center, has been teaching dance for over 45 years. Her dance experience began with several years of instruction at the San Francisco Ballet School and with Winifred Gilmore in Orinda, California, and she earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees in Dance at the University of California, Irvine. Miss Dorothy has taught over 1700 Galt area students ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, and creative movement and serves many students as a Home School Vendor. The program’s mission is “To provide quality dance instruction, giving students of all ages the skills necessary to enjoy a lifetime of dance.” Galt Dance Center also offers a free report titled “What every parent should know before choosing a dance studio.”
