Children Music and Art offers piano, violin, guitar, drum, guzheng, Đàn Tranh, and gourd zither (Đàn bầu) lessons, along with vocal and drawing classes. The program includes an annual recital and also offers online classes via Zoom.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
The program takes place in bright, air-conditioned studios. One teacher has been a piano teacher for over 10 years, and the leadership team includes Quinn (piano, Đàn Tranh, and guzheng teacher), Tu (piano teacher), and Andrew (guitar teacher). The program describes its environment as welcoming, supportive, and imaginative, with courses designed to attract children’s attention and interest through fun, age-appropriate games and activities. Students can participate in unique group settings or receive extra care in private classes, and the program includes public performances to build confidence. Online classes are available via Zoom, and a free trial is available. The mission of Children Music and Art states that every child is unique and has something special to offer, and that through music and art, children learn to appreciate different things about themselves and others, strengthen their self-esteem, and express their thoughts and feelings through creative activities.
