Team Quachro Basketball (TQ Basketball) is led by Founder and CEO Johny Quach and was built from the ground up, starting with a vision and a few committed players. The staff brings years of experience from high school and college basketball, and the program offers high-level training from coaches with this background. The program states that its goal is for each child to get the most out of their basketball experience and describes its mission as real training, real development, and real results. It is described as Orange County’s premier basketball program, with a primary gym at a major sports facility in Orange County, and has a presence across Southern California with players at many local high schools. The program reports a track record of producing elite athletes who now compete at the D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO levels and notes that players learn to play the right way, make lifelong friendships, and become leaders on and off the court. It emphasizes culture, flexibility, accountability, a team-first environment, old-school work ethic, visible skill development, honest coaching, and a lasting team culture, and it describes itself as more than just basketball and more than a club, calling itself a family where kids develop as players and as people. From the youngest teams to the oldest, the program states that everyone moves together, competes together, and grows together. Families in the program come from Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Buena Park, Westminster, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Yorba Linda, Fullerton, Irvine, and nearby cities, with additional players driving from Chino Hills, San Gabriel, and the San Fernando Valley. The program also highlights big family events such as potlucks, BBQs, holiday get-togethers, Media Days, and the Hoop Bus experience at High School Media Day.
