Gilroy Children’s Musical Theater features youth theater productions that include musicals, movies, singing showcases, special events, and acting workshops. In 2022, the program will produce a new season of musicals, movies, and acting workshops that only require one rehearsal per week.

GCMT is dedicated to offering high quality performing arts experiences to Bay Area youth ages 5–18, with colorful youth theater productions that provide performing arts training that boosts children’s self-esteem, confidence, and teaches the value of teamwork. Over the past thirty years, director John Bisceglie and his team have worked with thousands of children in the San Francisco Bay Area, producing more than two hundred original musicals, movies, singing showcases, and special events featuring kids of all ages. GCMT offers performing arts experiences to Bay Area youth ages 5–18 and produces Bay Area productions.
Parent feedback includes comments such as, “GCMT was an amazing experience for our son and our entire family. The director, John Bisceglie, is a creative genius. The kids absolutely adore him, and he manages to keep them in-line (literally) and excited at the same time.” Another parent shared, “My kids have participated in several GCMT children’s productions and I can’t say enough about what a great experience it has been for our entire family.” A third parent wrote, “I just wanted to write to say thank you so much for such an amazing experience!
