AYSO Region 88 Youth Soccer Programs offer youth soccer through a Fall Core program, a Spring program, and a U4 Playground program. The programs include organized youth soccer activities for players across multiple divisions, with a specific U4 Playground option for 3-year-olds.

AYSO Region 88 Youth Soccer Programs are part of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), which is headquartered in Torrance, California. AYSO Region 88 is part of Area 1C of Section 1 and serves the communities of Glendale, La Crescenta, and Montrose, with additional players from Los Angeles, Tujunga, Sunland, La Cañada, Eagle Rock, and other nearby communities. The region is one of the largest in AYSO, with close to 2,200 players registered in the Fall Core program and 1,300 players in the Spring, and it schedules close to 250 teams and more than 1,700 games each regular season. All board members, coaches, and referees in AYSO Region 88 are volunteers.
AYSO Region 88 has been a Platinum region since 2004, and each year the President’s Circle recognizes regions that meet or exceed the AYSO commitment of Bringing More Soccer to More Kids. The region’s vision is to provide a world class youth soccer program that enriches children’s lives. Its mission is to develop and deliver a quality youth soccer program that promotes a fun, family environment based on AYSO’s Six Philosophies: Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, and Player Development. The leadership team includes Regional Commissioner Aldo Mascheroni, Registrar Ryan Wood, Coach Administrator Iain Blackwood, Referee Administrator Adrian Fieda, Child/Volunteer Protection Advocate (CVPA) Scott Nord, and Safety Coordinator Ross Paulson.
