Five Star Music & Dance Academy offers piano lessons, music lessons, and dance lessons, along with electronic music production. The program also supports movie and film shoots, photo shoots, birthday parties, seminars, workshops, tutoring, private and group lessons, and art classes in its studio spaces.

Five Star Music & Dance Academy has been in operation from at least 1993 through 2024. The academy states that its instructors specialize in music and dance instruction for children, teenagers, and adults, and that its goal is to create memorable experiences through music. Students participate in events and recitals, and the academy also provides music and dance services for private events, film, television, and music video choreography.
All music instructors are professional musicians with university degrees and extensive experience teaching and performing. Dance classes are directed by Ellenie Galestian and her IDWT dance company choreographers. Leadership and teaching roles include General Manager and Music Director Edwin Galestian, Dance Director and Instructor Ellenie Galestian, office and administrative manager Medick Galestian, business development lead Robert Sarkisian, and computer development, recording, and electronic music specialist Arthur Galestian. Additional staff include General Manager Avag Petrosyan, choreographer and dance instructor Isabella Garcia, violin instructors Clarissa McElroy and Lita Neuman, acting coach and dance instructor Lisa Lewolt, guitar instructor Christopher Golden, guitar instructor and songwriter Michael Quest, and production manager Marineh Gharibian.
The academy offers private and group classes in person with safety rules and regulations in place and states that it follows guidelines of LA County and the City of Glendale, with cleaning and sanitizing after each session. Online classes are available for both music and dance lessons, and families can register for classes online. Five Star Music & Dance Academy uses the Modern Teaching Method (MTM), based on a curriculum of music theory, ear training, and sight-reading. Dance classes are offered for children, teens, and adults starting at ages 2.5 years and up. Students perform in studio recitals and shows. The academy notes that it is the only music and dance center in its area with a full line of musical instruments and accessories, offers special discounts and package deals on instruments and accessories for students, and maintains an online store.
