Five Star Music & Dance Academy offers piano lessons, music lessons, dance lessons, art classes, and electronic music production. The program provides both private and group music and dance classes, as well as tutoring and private lessons. The studio also hosts movie and film shoots, photo shoots, birthday parties, seminars, workshops, and other private dance classes and group dance classes.

Five Star Music & Dance Academy operates in studio spaces that include a full studio rental option of 1,200 square feet and a music and dance center with a full line of musical instruments and accessories. Private and group classes are held in person with safety rules and regulations in place, and online classes are available for both music and dance lessons. The studio and classes are cleaned and sanitized after each session, and the program follows all guidelines of LA County and the City of Glendale. The academy also offers sales, rentals, repairs, and retail of musical instruments and accessories, with special discounts and package deals on instruments and accessories for students. Studio rentals are available with flexible hours, with additional rental requests considered upon approval.
All music instructors are professional musicians with university degrees and extensive experience teaching and performing. Music Director and Piano Instructor Edwin Galestian is the General Manager and Music Director, continued his studies in music composition at the University of Tehran, and founded his own music retail store and school in 1985. Dance lessons are directed by Dance Director and Instructor Ellenie Galestian, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts and Dance from California State University, Los Angeles, and served as the youngest dance instructor at UCLA at 22 years old. The dance department also includes choreographer and dance instructor Isabella Garcia, who is a professional dancer and choreographer and a graduate of Ramon C. Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts, and Clarissa McElroy, who has been dancing professionally in Los Angeles for 10 years and is well versed in hip hop, jazz funk, jazz, heels, samba, and Latin styles. Acting coach, dance instructor, and motivational speaker Lisa Lewolt began acting and dancing at the age of ten and has appeared in over 15 national commercials, 20 TV shows, and 5 films.
Violin instruction is provided by instructors including Lita Neumann, who has been teaching music at Five Star Music & Dance Academy for over ten years. Guitar instruction is provided by Christopher Golden, who attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, studied Jazz Composition, received a bachelor’s degree in Performance on both electric and upright bass, has recorded and performed with many notable artists, currently tours internationally with Engelbert Humperdinck, and has been teaching as a guitar instructor at the academy since 2019. Guitar instructor, songwriter, and recording artist Michael Quest has over 20 years of experience teaching guitar and holds a BS in Art Education from the University of Michigan with teaching credentials. Production Manager Marineh Gharibian has years of experience as an event manager.
The leadership and administrative team includes General Manager and Music Director Edwin Galestian; Dance Department lead and Dance Director Ellenie Galestian; Office and Admin Manager Medick Galestian; Business Development lead for managing sponsors, advertisers, and donors for the subsidiary, Robert Sarkisian; Computer Development, Recording, and Electronic Music lead Arthur Galestian; General Manager Avag Petrosyan; Manager Medick Galestian; choreographer and dance instructor Isabella Garcia; violin instructors Clarissa McElroy and Lita Neuman; acting coach, dance instructor, and motivational speaker Lisa Lewolt; guitar instructors Christopher Golden and Michael Quest; and Production Manager Marineh Gharibian. The academy states that its goal is to create memorable experiences through music and uses the Modern Teaching Method (MTM), which is based on a curriculum that includes music theory, ear training, and sight-reading. Dance classes are offered for children, teens, and adults starting at ages 2.5 years and up. The academy organizes events and recitals where students perform and showcase their talents and provides music and dance services for private events, film, television, music video choreography, and more.
