ZA Basketball Academy offers a 4 Week Training Program that focuses on basketball fundamentals such as ball handling, shooting, dribbling, passing, and footwork. Training includes both 1-on-1 sessions and small group training, as well as weekend camps that use game-speed scenarios and Smart Game Decisions training to build high basketball IQ. Weekend clinics are organized by age group with sessions for ages 7–8, 9–10, and 11–12, and small group sessions are limited to 4 players per group.

ZA Basketball Academy is led by Zareh “Coach Z” Avedian, a 3x Hall of Fame Coach, and elite trainer Zareh Zargaryan. Coach Z’s credentials include Ventura County Hall of Fame, Cal Lutheran Athletic Hall of Fame (2014), Hoover High School Hall of Fame (2019), First Team All SCIAC Conference in college, and SCIAC Player of the Year, and he led the Armenian Men’s National Basketball Team to gold at the 2016 FIBA Small Countries Championship. The academy’s mission is to empower young athletes through focused basketball training that improves fundamentals like ball handling, shooting, and footwork while also teaching discipline, teamwork, and perseverance for long-term athletic and personal development. The program was founded with roots in Glendale, CA.
