Goleta School of Ballet

Goleta School of Ballet offers classical ballet training that includes annual performances such as The Nutcracker, The Nutcracker Tutu Suite, The Mixed Repertory Gala Program, and a full-length ballet classic. The program also offers Summer Workshop options, including Dance Camp for Levels 2–6 and a Summer Intensive for the Pre-Professional Division.

• Schedule: Fall/Winter Session runs through December, with a Winter/Spring session resuming in January and summer Dance Camp and Summer Intensive programs

The Goleta School of Ballet was founded in 1986 and has grown over the last 38 years. It is the home of Goleta Ballet Theatre and is in Season 40. The school is led by Artistic Director Lisa Abshere. The Goleta School of Ballet offers classical ballet training for students ages 3–18 across 16 levels of instruction, with an emphasis on annual performances as part of the student’s experience. Students perform in either The Nutcracker or The Nutcracker Tutu Suite in December, The Mixed Repertory Gala Program in February, and a full-length ballet classic in the spring or one of the Summer Workshop offerings. The Goleta School of Ballet has been a staple in the Santa Barbara community since 1986.
