Freedom Riders MTB offers a four day MTB camp that includes basic mountain biking skills, on trail techniques and skills, drills, and trail rides. Each camp includes a bike and helmet safety check and a review of trail etiquette. The program also offers private clinics with one on one instruction.
• Ages: 8–18 years old
• Schedule: Four day MTB camps with Session 1: June 15–June 18; Session 2: June 22–June 25; Session 3: July 6–July 9; Session 4: July 13–July 16, running 8:30 am–11:30 am Monday through Thursday; private clinics are 2-hour one on one instruction
• Price: $115 for a 2 hour one on one instruction private clinic
Freedom Riders MTB offers various ride levels in each camp, with ride levels assessed and groups created based on skill abilities. The program includes a daily bike and helmet safety check and a review of Freedom Riders rules for safe riding and proper trail etiquette before drills, a snack stop, and a trail ride, followed by pick-up. Freedom Riders MTB uses different terrain that requires many different skills and offers private clinics for children and adults. The program is led by Coach Tricia. Freedom Riders MTB states that mountain biking skills along with real world application will bring adventure and confidence to children, and that children will learn a multitude of skills to help them navigate various trail systems, bringing a sense of accomplishment and pride that transfer to every part of their life.
