Ross Valley Little League offers Spring Baseball, Fall Baseball, and All-Stars. The program also shares a resource list of Marin-area baseball camps or training programs, including camps, clinics, and private training.
Ross Valley Little League was established in 1956. Its stated mission is to serve the Ross Valley community with programs designed to teach and inspire kids to the highest levels of baseball skill and sportsmanship. Ross Valley Little League is in the Little League Baseball Western Region, California District 3, and is for the residents of Ross, Kentfield, and Greenbrae. Leagues in District 3 include Dixie Terra Linda LL, Mill Valley LL, Novato North LL, Novato South LL, Ross Valley LL, San Francisco American LL, San Francisco National LL, San Rafael LL, Sausalito-Marin City LL, Tiburon Peninsula LL, Twin Cities LL, and West Marin LL.
The Marin Area Camps and Training page is described as a resource for area parents and notes that Ross Valley Little League does not endorse any particular training program or camp. Parents are strongly encouraged to do their own background and research when selecting a trainer or camp for their child. The resource list includes camps held at Redwood High, Field of Dreams Baseball Academy, clinics and private training located in Ross Valley, Future Prospects Baseball in San Rafael, Andrews Camps in Corte Madera, Dynamite Baseball Camps in Marin, and Nike Baseball Camp Indian Valley in Marin. 5-Tools Baseball Training is led by Lightning Coach and former player Jay Bayler; Andrews Camps is led by Andrew Frierson, a former professional baseball player and former area teacher; Dynamite Baseball Camps is led by Redwood’s Varsity Coach Jeff Packman; and Nike Baseball Camp Indian Valley is led by Jalal Leach, a former Giant and MLB Scout for the Yankees.
