Ross Cottage Nursery School

Ross Cottage Nursery School offers outdoor time, art and crafts, storytime, and chances for children to meet new friends. The program includes Kindergarten Prep with learning numbers, letters, and shapes, and it also includes potty training, with diapers accepted. The program notes a small group size and offers a summer program in addition to the regular school year.

Ross Cottage Nursery School is a preschool serving toddlers through TK and is currently enrolling for August 2026 and August 2027. The program uses a rolling admission process and accepts new children throughout the school year as well as in the summer, provided there is space available. Tours are available by appointment only, and applications are submitted via Brightwheel.

The leadership team includes Michelle, June, and Mimi. The preschool is celebrating its 16th year open. The program’s mission states that RCNS is an early childhood educational facility where children learn through a blend of play and structure and that it creates a learning foundation that prepares children socially and educationally. Ross Cottage Nursery School holds License # 214005718 and has a sister program called the Wilderness Cubs Program of Ross.

One parent, Jodi Muller, shared that her family has been at RCNS for 7 years, that her children enjoyed the outdoor space, art and crafts, storytime, and meeting new friends, and that they learned numbers, letters, shapes, sharing, and social skills during Kindergarten Prep. She also stated that both of her children developed a loving relationship with Michelle, June, and Mimi and that her family will always be grateful for their time at RCNS.
