Ross Cottage Nursery School

Ross Cottage Nursery School offers outdoor time, art and crafts, storytime, and chances for children to meet new friends. The program includes Kindergarten Prep with activities such as learning numbers, learning letters, and learning shapes. Children also practice sharing and social skills as part of the daily routine.

Ross Cottage Nursery School is a preschool serving toddlers through TK and has a small group size with lots of outdoor time. The program is currently enrolling for August 2026 and January 2027 and uses a rolling admission process. It accepts new children throughout the school year as well as in the summer, provided there is space available, and offers a summer program. The program potty trains, allows diapers, offers tours by appointment only, and uses Brightwheel for applications. Ross Cottage Nursery School is led by Michelle, June, and Mimi and is celebrating its 16th year open. Its mission states that RCNS is an early childhood educational facility where children learn through a blend of play and structure and that it creates a learning foundation that prepares children socially and educationally. The school holds License # 214005718. Families can also learn more about its sister program, the Wilderness Cubs Program of Ross. One parent shared that both of their children enjoyed the outdoor space, art and crafts, storytime, and meeting new friends, and that their children learned numbers, letters, shapes, sharing, and social skills during Kindergarten Prep, and developed a lasting relationship with Michelle, June, and Mimi.
