• Ages: 0–4 years old
• Schedule: Summer program sessions run for nearly three months

Highly qualified teachers interact with infants in Movement and Exploration areas and lead teacher-guided physical development exercises, while highly trained teachers work with two-year-olds on key milestones and give preschoolers both freedom and instruction. Daily logs are kept for babies and toddlers that include feeding, sleeping, diapering, and learning activities. The infant classroom includes Movement, Exploration, and Relaxation (Cozy Area) spaces, the toddler program is organized around shared learning experiences and activity-based Learning Centers, and the preschool classroom is set up as a community-centered environment with Learning Centers for Construction & Design, Dramatic Play, Writing, Creativity & Art, Reading & Listening, Math & Problem-solving, and Science & Sensory Awareness.

Motivated Minds was started to lay an educational foundation for children in and around the community so they could be prepared for kindergarten and beyond, with a philosophy of making learning fun. The program focuses on developing important character traits and life skills that promote independence and follows a school year curriculum that incorporates best practices of early childhood education and promotes school-readiness. All programs abide by state-mandated teacher-to-child ratios, and regular assessments are provided through written reports, ongoing portfolio collections, quarterly reports, and family/teacher conferences twice a year. Motivated Minds partners with parents as co-educators and works to create community between home and school so that home becomes an extension of community-based conversation, expectation, and reinforcement.
