Montessori Children's House of Hayward

Montessori Children's House of Hayward offers an accelerated curriculum that includes enriched instruction in music, art, and physical education. The program follows a Montessori approach, with Montessori teachers leading students to ask questions, think for themselves, explore, investigate, and discover. Children are academically stimulated and develop independently based on their individual ability, and the program includes a kindergarten component as well as daycare time as usual on Graduation Day.

Established in 1977, Montessori Children's House of Hayward has been serving children and families in the community for more than 45 years and is celebrating more than 45 years of educational excellence. After 49 years of serving children and families in the community, Montessori Children's House of Hayward will be closing at the conclusion of the school year in June 2026. The leadership team includes Kavita I. Hakim as Director and as Business Director. The school describes itself as a neighborhood Montessori school in Hayward.
