Solis Martial Arts offers martial arts classes that include kids martial arts, beginners martial arts classes, Little Ninjas martial arts classes, and Teens and Adult martial arts classes. Students can train in Jiujitsu, Filipino Martial Arts, and Muay Thai Kickboxing, and the studio also offers professional demonstrations, seminars, and private lessons.

Solis Martial Arts has provided San Francisco East Bay martial arts for over 40 years, with the first studio opened by Professor Eddie Solis in San Pablo, CA in 1982. The leadership team includes founding instructor and Master Instructor Professor Eddie Solis, a 9th-degree Black Belt; Head Instructor Sifu James, a 4th Degree Black Belt and 7-time North American Sport Karate Association world champion; and owner and instructor Carla de Alba, who has child development training. Professor Eddie Solis began training in KAJUKENBO in 1973, earned his Black Belt in 1976, was named California Middleweight Competitor of the Year in 1981, 1982, 1983, and 1988, and was ranked 3rd in the Western Region of the U.S. for fighting. Sifu James began training at age 5 at the original Solis Martial Arts location, earned his black belt in 2001, has won 6 NASKA world champion titles in creative extreme forms and one in sparring, and has traveled to Central America, Asia, and Europe as a competitor and invited guest instructor for professional demonstrations, seminars, and private lessons. The owner, Carla de Alba, began her training in 2023.
The mission at Solis Martial Arts states that it is not about becoming the best martial artist in the world, but about students becoming their best selves on the mats and in the rest of life, with an emphasis on progress over perfection and a family-oriented, positive environment for building confidence. The studio focuses on building personal relationships with each student and their families, emphasizes discipline, emotional growth, and self-confidence in kids martial arts classes, and offers family check-ins to support students and families beyond the mats. Programs are described as focusing on personal growth for all ages, with a quality over quantity approach to classes, a paid trial offering two classes at a discount, special events such as seminars, holidays, and social gatherings, and an accommodating schedule for kids and families.
Solis Martial Arts has served the East Bay community for over 40 years and welcomes students from Hercules and surrounding areas including Rodeo, Pinole, San Pablo, El Sobrante, Crockett, Vallejo, El Cerrito, Walnut Creek, and other nearby communities.
