Swim Lessons includes Parent & Child Aquatics, Level 1–4 swim lessons, Introduction to Swim Team, Open Swim, Lap Swim, and pool rentals for pool parties. Parent & Child Aquatics, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, and Introduction to Swim Team are offered in different skill levels, with Introduction to Swim Team provided by Desert Aquatics. Participants in Introduction to Swim Team must complete a one-time swim assessment the Saturday before a session and pay a one-time USA Swim fee of $25.00 that is good for 12 months.

• Ages: 6 months–18 years old
• Schedule: Swim lessons are offered in two-week sessions on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, or in four-day Saturday or Sunday sessions, with a special three-day Session 2 due to the July 4th holiday; Open Swim is offered daily beginning May 23 with daytime and evening hours, Lap Swim is offered Monday, Tuesday, and Friday afternoons, and pool rentals are available most Saturdays and Sundays beginning May 23.
• Price: $5.00 per person per Open Swim session; $2.00 per person per Lap Swim session; $44.00 per two-week swim lesson session (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday); $44.00 per four-day Saturday or Sunday swim lesson session; Session 2 is $33.00; Introduction to Swim Team is $60.00 per two-week session plus a one-time $25.00 USA Swim Team fee and a $10.00 non-resident fee; pool rentals for 0–60 patrons with 2 lifeguards cost $169.00 for residents and $195.00 for non-residents, with doubled rates for business or profit-making rentals and an additional insurance certificate and endorsement required.

Parent & Child Aquatics is for ages 6 months to 3 years with a maximum class size of 8. Level 1 is for ages 4 to 5 years with a maximum class size of 8. Level 2 is recommended for participants who have completed Level 1 or are approximately 7–8 years of age with no fear of the water, with a maximum class size of 8. Level 3 is recommended for participants who have completed Level 2 and are able to swim the width of the pool with no assistance, with a maximum class size of 8. Level 4 is recommended for participants who have completed Level 3 or are able to swim the width of the pool with no assistance, with a maximum class size of 8. Introduction to Swim Team is recommended for participants who have completed Level 4 and are able to swim the length of the pool with no assistance, with a maximum class size of 16. Participants do not receive a certificate of completion unless they are able to successfully perform the skills, and the stated intent of the program is to make sure participants are water safe. Classes with fewer than four registered participants may be cancelled, and classes may be cancelled at the Park District’s discretion.

Open Swim is offered daily beginning Saturday, May 23, with weekday hours from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and 7:45 to 9:45 p.m., weekend hours from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and holiday hours (May 25, July 4, and September 7 only) from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Lap Swim is offered Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. Swim lesson registration is offered online only at hesperiaparks.com and begins on May 1, 2026, and computers are available for public use at the Hesperia Branch Library and the Hesperia Unified School District’s Family Resource Center for registration. Pool rentals are available beginning May 23 on most Saturdays and Sundays, with times offered from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.

A swimsuit and payment of the required fee are needed to enter the gated pool area for both swimmers and non-swimmers. Males 6 years and over must wear shorts with a drawstring and liner, and females 6 years and over must wear a swimsuit or shorts that meet the same requirements as males, along with a sports bra that is not white or see-through. Children 5 years and under must wear a swimsuit with a liner and an elastic waist, and swim diapers are required for children who are not potty trained. Infants may wear swim diapers, but diapers not designed as swim diapers are not allowed. Females may wear shorts over a swimsuit, and if a female chooses to swim in a sports bra and shorts, the shorts must meet the same requirements as for males. Males 6 years and older must wear shorts with a drawstring and liner, and if the shorts do not have a liner, underwear (not including boxers) may be substituted. Any swim attire that is offensive to the general public is not allowed. Lime Street Pool is staffed with certified lifeguards.
