OC Riptide Aquatics offers a Competitive Youth Swim Team for youth age-group swimmers, a Learn-to-Swim Program with monthly group lessons for ages 5-12, Jr. Lifeguard Prep & Fitness for ages 8-12, and a Summer Beginner Swim Team for ages 8-12. It also offers a Try a Free Swim Lesson for children and an Adult MASTERS Swim Team for ages 18 and older.
Programs
- Competitive Youth Swim Team (USA Swimming) — youth age-group swimmers · Year round · Annual commitment with options for monthly, semi-annual, or annual payment. Open to swimmers from novices up to the highest levels of the sport.
- Adult MASTERS Swim Team (United States Masters Swimming) — 18 and older · Year round · $94 per month · Registration fee of $25. Requires current annual USMS membership.
- Learn-to-Swim Program (Monthly Recurring Lessons) — 5-12 · Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays · $217 per month · Group lessons. Monthly sessions. Two class groupings with age bands 5-6, 7-8, and 9-12.
- H.S. Swim, Pre-Season Technique Clinic — grades 9-12 · Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:00-6:00pm · $299 · Registration closed. Located at Ocean View HS Pool. Must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted.
- Jr. Lifeguard Prep & Fitness — 8-12 · Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:00-6:00pm · Runs February to April. Training focuses on swim fitness, treading water, underwater swimming, and water safety.
- Summer Beginner Swim Team — 8-12 · Mon & Wed or Tue & Thu, 5:00-6:00 pm
- Try a Free Swim Lesson — children · Includes introduction and welcome, safety briefing, skill assessment, basic water skills, breath control, fun water activities, parental guidance if applicable, and a Q&A session.

About the provider
The program has been around since 1990 and says it has been helping swimmers reach their full potential since 2011. Its leadership team is described as dedicated, experienced, and professional, and its credentials include USA Swimming and United States Masters Swimming (USMS). The program also organizes social events, competitions, community outreach programs, tournaments, and community outreach initiatives.

Registration fee for Masters is $25. Summer Beginner Swim Team requires swimmers to be able to swim 25 yards Freestyle unassisted with controlled breathing. H.S. Swim, Pre-Season Technique Clinic requires swimmers to be able to swim 25 yards unassisted.
