YMCA of San Diego County Camps offers day and overnight camp options that include activities such as surfing, STEM projects, cooking, ceramics, slime, sports, and horseback riding. Campers can also take part in surfing in Imperial Beach as part of the program’s offerings. The YMCA of San Diego County operates three overnight camps: YMCA Camp Marston and YMCA Raintree Ranch in Julian and YMCA Camp Surf, just south of San Diego.

The YMCA of San Diego County was established in 1882. The YMCA of San Diego County is the largest YMCA association in the nation, and YMCA members have full access to 15 locations in San Diego County. The mission of the YMCA of San Diego County is: “We nurture a healthy spirit, mind, and body so all can thrive while honoring our faith-based heritage.” The YMCA of San Diego County states that it is focused on community well-being and belonging and strives to develop place-based, person-centered, community-responsive solutions to help address the social determinants of health that advance equity, opportunity and upward mobility for all, using an evidenced-based, measured approach. Leadership for the YMCA of San Diego County includes President & Chief Executive Officer Todd Tibbits and a team of executive and vice president leaders in operations, finance, mission advancement, brand, social impact, legal, information, community engagement, human resources, policy and advocacy, development, social services, and compliance and ethics.
