McDuffy’s Kajukenbo offers Kajukenbo and karate classes through a warrior martial art program, a kids martial art program, and a teen/adult martial art program. Students practice forms (katas), self-defense techniques, tournament sparring (kumite), weapons self-defense, and street fighting techniques. The program also offers a dance program with hip hop, ballet, tap, and modern dance, as well as cardio kickboxing and personal training.

McDuffy’s Kajukenbo runs a Summer Camp Program for children that includes martial arts, self-awareness, sports, academics, swimming, tennis, Spanish classes, hip hop, tumbling, and field trips. The Summer Camp is for children ages 4–14 and is Crystal Stairs Approved, with field trips that have included Raging Waters, Mulligans, the Science Center, Pacific Park, Knotts Berry Farm, and Pirates Dinner. The program also offers both Spring Break and Winter Break camps during the regular academic school year.
The program provides tutoring and a transportation program where tutors ensure the student has the support needed to complete daily homework assignments and then correct the assignments once completed. McDuffy’s Kajukenbo also offers a dance team that performs across Southern California and competes against other dance companies throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties. The cardio kickboxing workout is geared toward teens and adults, is set to music, and has an estimated calorie burn of 500 to 700 calories in an hour-long session.
McDuffy’s Kajukenbo is family owned and operated and has been enriching the lives of students throughout Inglewood and Los Angeles since 2004. The program is a licensed daycare and is Crystal Stairs Approved. McDuffy’s Kajukenbo teaches and deals with reality and practicality in training.
The leadership team includes Professor Cliff McDuffy, Sigung Terrence McDuffy, Sigung Chance McDuffy, Sifu Alex McDuffy, and Sifu Meigyn McDuffy. Cliff McDuffy has studied Kajukenbo for over 33 years, holds black belts in a number of different arts, is an Army veteran, and holds an undergraduate degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and graduate degrees from Pepperdine University and the University of Phoenix. Terrence McDuffy has over 26 years of experience in Kajukenbo, over a decade of experience in the ground game of Ju-jitsu, and is certified in cardio kickboxing and group fitness. Chance McDuffy has over 20 years of experience in Kajukenbo, and Alex McDuffy has over 29 years of experience in Kajukenbo. Meigyn McDuffy has over 19 years in Kajukenbo and is the founder of MGM Dance Academy.
McDuffy’s Kajukenbo has been a contracted vendor with Inglewood Unified School District, providing instruction in both dance and Kajukenbo to their after school programs, and has relationships with Columbia Pictures, Sony Pictures, and Paramount Pictures. The program’s stated focus on morals and values has resulted in an improvement and pride in academics, and improved behavior in both the classroom and at home.
