About
Beckmen YOLA Center – YOLA at Inglewood offers music education through YOLA classes where young people rehearse together, record music, and perform. The program also includes workshops, training, and shared learning with music teachers who gather for activities such as staging, carpentry, props, audio, video, lighting, and projection. Participants in the Workforce Development Program receive hands-on, on-the-job training and job shadowing in these areas as they develop skills as professional stage technicians, including roles such as sound engineers, lighting designers, projectionists, video technicians, and orchestral stagehands.
